Membership Agreement

1. Membership Eligibility

Membership is open to individuals who:

• Identify as a Black Mama or caregiver aligned with MNO’s mission

• Are at least 18 years old

• Agree to uphold the values of respect, inclusivity, and community care

MNO reserves the right to approve, deny, or revoke membership at its discretion.

2. Membership Term & Dues

Memberships are valid for one (1) year from the date of purchase unless otherwise stated.

• Membership dues are non-refundable and non-transferable.

• Dues support MNO programming, events, operations, and community initiatives.

3. Membership Benefits

Membership benefits may include:

• Priority or discounted access to MNO events

• Members-only events or experiences

• Early access to announcements and registration

• Community engagement opportunities

Benefits may vary by event and are not guaranteed.

4. Code of Conduct

MNO is a respectful and affirming community space. Members agree to:

• Treat all members, guests, staff, and partners with respect

• Refrain from harassment, discrimination, or disruptive behavior

• Respect differences in identity, lived experience, and opinion

MNO has a zero-tolerance policy for harmful behavior.

5. Event Participation & Assumption of Risk

Participation in MNO events is voluntary. You acknowledge that:

• Some events may involve physical activity, travel, or third-party venues

• You voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation

• MNO is not liable for injury, loss, or damage except where required by law

Additional waivers may be required for certain events.

6. Photo, Video & Media Release

By attending MNO events, you grant MNO permission to use photographs, video, or audio recordings taken during events for marketing, promotional, educational, or archival purposes.

If you do not wish to be photographed or recorded, you must notify event staff prior to the event.

7. Communications Consent

By joining MNO, you consent to receive communications via email and/or text regarding:

• Membership updates

• Event announcements

• Community opportunities

You may unsubscribe from non-essential communications at any time.

8. Termination of Membership

MNO may suspend or terminate membership without refund if a member:

• Violates this agreement

• Engages in conduct that compromises community safety or integrity

9. Nonprofit Status

Mamas Night Out is a Texas nonprofit organization and is pending federal 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status.
Membership dues are not currently tax-deductible unless otherwise stated.

10. Agreement Acceptance

By becoming a member, you acknowledge that you:

• Have read and understand this Membership Agreement

• Agree to be bound by its terms

• Understand that this agreement applies to all MNO activities and events
